Paul (16 Jun 2004 11:29): A stupid trick: Say you make an excel file for others to fill in cells A1-A9 and it puts results elsewhere. Say cell B1 is =A1. If they put a value in A1, then cut it and paste it elsewhere, your calculations all break; B1 changes to =(elsewhere). The workaround is to use the "indirect" function, and let B1 be =indirect("A1").
